Evening Courses: Creative Desk Tidy Course

This creative course will introduce you to the basics of metal fabrication processes, including MMA (Stick) and MIG welding to design and create a Desk Tidy. This course is suitable for groups or individuals who want to have a go at Welding.

You will learn basic welding skills first then channel your creative juices to design your own desk tidy using metal box section or steel tube. Learn how to cut metal tube properly and prepare metal for for welding. Then weld all the parts together to create your unique desk tidy.

To finish the piece you will learn about angle grinding and metal finishing technique to get the perfect finish.

This course is perfect alternative evening class for people who want to try something new.

The day will be led by Richard Evans, an experienced furniture designer. All materials required for this course are included in the price.
