These Terms & Conditions apply to all courses, services, digital products, and bookings made throughwww.theweldspace.co.uk.
By purchasing a course, booking a service, or accessing digital content from The Weld Space, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not purchase or use our products or services.
These Terms were last updated on 30/12/2025 and apply only in the English language.
1. Information About Us
1.1 The Weld Space operates viawww.theweldspace.co.uk and is part of RichCraft UK LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales.

2. Changes to These Terms
2.1 We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, regulation, or how we operate.
2.2 The Terms in force at the time of purchase will apply to that booking or product.
3. Marketing & Communication
3.1 By contacting us, entering competitions, or booking a course, you agree to a soft opt-in, allowing us to contact you regarding your enquiry, courses, or related services.
3.2 You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting us directly.
3.3 We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
4. Course Bookings & Payments
4.1 Payments for courses and welding classes are processed securely via Stripe Payments.
4.2 Once a booking has been made, we use Eventbrite to manage course administration, attendee numbers, and course communications.
4.3 You may receive course-related information and updates via Eventbrite email notifications, in addition to direct communication from The Weld Space.
5. Fair Booking Policy
Our Fair Booking Policy explains how bookings, cancellations, refunds, transfers, attendance, and course delivery work. As a small independent business, we do our best to be fair but we’re unable to offer complete freedom to change bookings. When you book a course, you’re responsible for attending on the agreed date, so please make sure the course works for you before booking or contact us.
Cancellations, Refunds & Course Changes
5.1 Refunds are not offered for course cancellations caused by events outside of our control. This policy applies at the time of booking. If possible, we will aim to offer reasonable and flexible alternatives, such as transferring your booking to a later date or an alternative course, subject to availability.
5.2 If you are unable to attend your booked course, you may request to transfer your booking to a later date or a different course. All transfers are subject to availability and are offered at our discretion. No less the 21 days before the course date.
5.3 Where a refund is approved, any refunded amount will be subject to a 20% administration fee, which covers payment processing and costs.
5.4 All requests for cancellations, refunds, or transfers must be made in writing and as soon as reasonably possible.
Course Delivery, Attendance & No-Shows
5.5 All courses require a minimum of three participants to run. Each course has a maximum of five places.
5.6 The Weld Space reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or move a course if minimum attendance numbers are not met or if the course becomes unviable to deliver. Where reasonably possible, we will aim to notify you at least 14 days in advance, outlining the situation and available options.
5.7 If a course is cancelled by us, you will be offered the option of a transfer to a future suitable course date or a full refund.
5.8 Attendance is the responsibility of the participant. A “no-show” is defined as failure to attend the course on the booked date without prior agreement.
5.9 No-shows are not eligible for refunds or transfers. A new booking will be required to attend another course.
6. Events Outside Our Control
6.1 We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including (but not limited to): workshop closure, tutor illness or injury, industrial action, extreme weather, pandemics, transport disruption, or utility outages.
7. Health & Safety:
7.1 Welding, Metalwork and activities completed at The Weld Space site are inherently dangerous activities. By booking a course, you accept full personal responsibility for any injury, illness, death or damage arising from participation.
7.2 You agree to follow tutor instructions and operate equipment as directed at all times.
7.3 The Weld Space, RichCraft UK LTD, and associated persons are not liable for damage to clothing, personal belongings, or personal wellbeing.
7.4 A risk assessment is available for viewing before or during any course.
8. Privacy
8.1 Please see our privacy policy
9. Bench Hire Scheme
9.1 Bench hire is available only to previous course attendees and must be booked and paid for in advance.
9.2 Users must follow all workshop best practices, including PPE use, machine care, cleanliness, and ask the technician for help if need be.
9.3 Any damage caused through negligence must be paid for by the hirer.
9.4 Bench hire users are not covered by The Weld Space or RichCraft UK LTD insurance. Personal injury and public liability insurance are strongly recommended.
9.5 All health and safety responsibility lies solely with the hirer.
10. Materials, Tools & Storage
10.1 Materials or projects left after the hire period may be disposed of.
10.2 Tools left on site are left entirely at the owner’s risk.
10.3 Reasonable use of MIG gas and MMA electrodes is included. Excessive use will be charged.
10.4 TIG argon gas incurs an additional surcharge unless you provide your own.
11. Photography & Media
11.1 The Weld Space operates an opt-in policy for photography and video. Please inform your tutor if you do not wish to be featured.
12. Competitions
12.1 Competition rules will be stated clearly at the time of each competition.
12.2 Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
12.3 Winners’ names may be published online.
13. Payment by Invoice
13.1 Invoice payments must be made on receipt.
13.2 Late payments may incur interest at 8% per annum, calculated daily.
14. Digital Products & The Weld Space Academy Courses
14.1 Digital Products
Our digital products may include online courses, downloadable resources, design plans, AI-powered learning tools, videos, worksheets, templates, quizzes, community access and other digital learning materials as described at the time of purchase.
Access to digital content is provided electronically and is intended for your personal use only.
14.2 Immediate Access & Value Delivered
Upon successful purchase, you receive immediate access to a substantial portion of the value included within your purchase. Depending on the product purchased, this may include professionally produced video lessons, downloadable resources, project plans, AI-powered learning tools, worksheets, and other digital content.
The purchase price reflects the immediate availability of these learning resources and the intellectual property they contain, rather than the amount of time you choose to spend using them.
14.3 Refunds
Where immediate access to digital products has been provided, you acknowledge that supply begins immediately. By purchasing and requesting immediate access, you agree that, where permitted under applicable consumer law, your statutory right to cancel ends once digital content has been supplied.
As a result, refunds will not normally be available once access has been granted, except where required under applicable consumer law or where the digital content is faulty or not as described.
14.4 Licence to Use
When you purchase a digital product, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your own private learning.
All digital content remains the intellectual property of RichCraft UK Ltd trading as The Weld Space.
14.5 Intellectual Property
You may not copy, reproduce, record, distribute, publish, modify, sell, licence, share, or commercially exploit any part of our digital content without our prior written permission.
This includes, but is not limited to, videos, course materials, design plans, downloads, AI-generated responses, worksheets, images and written content.
14.6 Account Access
Your account is personal to you and must not be shared with any other person.
We reserve the right to monitor account activity and investigate suspected unauthorised use. If we reasonably believe an account is being shared or otherwise misused, we may suspend or permanently terminate access without refund.
14.7 AI Learning Tools
Where provided, AI-powered learning tools, including weld analysis and coaching features, are intended solely as educational resources.
Whilst we strive to provide accurate and helpful guidance, AI-generated responses may occasionally be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for your particular circumstances.
You remain responsible for ensuring all welding activities are carried out safely, following appropriate training, equipment manufacturers' instructions and relevant health and safety guidance.
14.8 Service Availability
We aim to provide continuous access to our digital products and services. However, access may occasionally be interrupted due to maintenance, software updates, technical issues or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We reserve the right to update, amend, replace or remove course content, AI features or digital resources at any time in order to improve the learning experience.
14.9 Termination of Access
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any digital product, subscription or online service where we reasonably believe these Terms and Conditions have been breached, misuse has occurred, payment obligations have not been met, or unlawful activity is suspected.
Termination of access shall not affect any outstanding payment obligations where applicable.
15. Academy Membership & Subscription
15.1 Subscription
The Weld Space Academy is provided as a recurring subscription service. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled by you before your next renewal date.
15.2 Payments
Subscription fees are collected using your chosen payment method on a recurring basis. It is your responsibility to ensure your payment details remain valid and up to date.
15.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account or by contacting us in writing.
Cancellation will prevent future renewal payments but will not normally result in a refund for any current billing period. Access to Academy content will continue until the end of your paid subscription period, after which access will end automatically.
15.4 Failed Payments
If a subscription payment cannot be collected, we reserve the right to suspend access to Academy content until payment has been successfully received.
15.5 Changes to Membership
We may add, remove or improve Academy content, features and services from time to time.
If we need to change the subscription price, we will provide reasonable notice before the new price takes effect. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel your subscription before your next renewal date.
15. Privacy Policy – AI Conversations & Training Data
AI Conversations & Training Data
When you use The Weld Space AI Coach, we may collect and store the conversations you have with the AI, photographs or images you upload, and any other information you choose to submit through the service.
We use this information to improve our products and services, develop new AI-powered features, train and evaluate our AI systems, improve the accuracy of welding guidance, and enhance the learning experience for our customers.
Where reasonably possible, we will remove or anonymise personal information before using conversational or image data for research, product development or AI training.
We may, in the future, licence, transfer or otherwise commercially exploit anonymised datasets or AI training data derived from user interactions. However, we will not sell your personal information, contact details or information that directly identifies you to third parties.
By using The Weld Space AI Coach and uploading content, you acknowledge and agree that this information may be used for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
