We encourage clients to send us examples of designer furniture that’s caught your eye. This will help us create a picture of what you are after in terms of finish, style and size. Feel free to send us inspiration from Pinterest, Instagram or online. This all helps communicate your overall idea to us.
How to finish furniture?
Make sure you have a think about the type of finish you want. If you commission outside furniture it must be weather resistant so aluminum is preferable. Our handmade furniture is usually powder coated. This is the last thing to be done but it can have a bearing on manufacturing processes and material used.
How much does bespoke furniture cost?
The simple answer is it varies. We advise against using lots of different materials in your piece. As this can result in more processes being used which can increase costs. If you are working to a budget it’s always helpful to know as we can plan accordingly so the furniture is tailored to your requirements.
What happens after finalising my idea?
Once we have the design agreed and drawings are exchanged, We will begin fabricating your furniture. Although we will keep you informed of progress regular pictures and updates are tricky as they don’t always tell the full picture. Unfinished hardwood look very different to Oil or Waxed furniture.
Furniture Size matters a lot?
Having appropriately sized furniture is important. Using masking tape on the floor can help visualise your furniture. This can also help in anticipating potential delivery snags. Before the piece can get to its final destination it must fit through the front door. We will provide 3D drawings where possible.

Statement Dining Room furniture for a residential customer. Table top made from London plane with custom designed stools and legs. Bespoke outside metal furniture for a Residential client. We created a custom designed Syracusa bench powder coated in a colour to matched their windows. The furniture was perfectly tailored to their home.
