Explore, discover and learn something new through our original welding workshop experience. Our experiences allow you to learn welding skills in order to make a product or object of your own. Like the idea, why not bring the team?
We can host team building, aways day events or days out for businesses in Plymouth. Our unique experience is designed to introduce the basics of welding and metalwork to beginners. You will be guided through your experience by an expert tutor and learn how to use the equipment and tools safely in order to make a product or object from metal.

What you get from the day:
All people involved in our away day experiences will get a chance to learn the basics skills of welding and have a go at building and finishing a product of there own. A nifty skills to have up your sleeve!
You’ll also become part of the Weld Space Community so can come back and use our book a bench hire scheme under there own steam in the future. Hire is available from half a day from £35.00
We’ve found that our away day experiences can bring a wealth of benefits to teams and individuals. A truly original and unique experience for people and a chance to try something new which is different from the day jobs. All of this helps broaden horizons, build confidence and improve well-being.
Booking Information:
Maximum capacity for our experiences teams of 5. With all the materials and equipment provided.
Once we receive your booking request on the form below we will set up an Event page for you with a code which each team member can use to book themselves onto the experience.
Booking for our corporate welding experiences is for Monday - Friday during normal working hours. Any specical requests we will do our best to accommodate.
Cost:
Our experiences are 4 hours long and start with the tutor introducing the group to the different and most common welding processes MIG and MMA (Arc) Welding. They will then explain and kit everyone out with all the necessary welding PPE to get practising.
You’ll then get going on the machines - everyones has there own, so don’t worry! You’ll then get a good chance to practise under your own steam and see how you get on. The tutor will come around and provide 1-2-1 advice on how to develop your welding skills.
Once you’ve mastered the skills needed to be a welder! We’re introduce another welding process just so you can experience it and get a feel for this age old craft.
Following the practice session were set about making a small product or object. Where you can have a go using the saw and customise your desk tidy. Afterwards we’ll weld on the bottom and tidy up the welds with the angle grinder.
This experience is perfect for beginners as no prior experience is required. We will provide all the equipment, PPE and material.
Our welding experiences are £80.00 per person. Additional extras can be arrange such as lunch
