Make your own metal reindeer this Christmas!
Try something completely different this festive season with a fun, hands-on 2-hour Christmas experience in Plymouth.
Designed especially for complete beginners, you'll get to try metalworking and welding before creating your own Christmas reindeer to take home.
We'll provide all the equipment and materials you need. After a short safety briefing, we'll show you the basics and give you time to practise before you start making.
You'll then bring your reindeer to life — welding on the legs, shaping the antlers and finishing off the nose.
Once it's finished, it's yours to take home. Add some Christmas lights, tinsel or your own decorations and give it pride of place in the garden.
We are located in Alma Yard in Plymouth. No experience needed. 14 Years Plus can attend.
What you’ll Do?
Make your own Christmas decoration by getting hands-on with metal.
This isn't a demonstration where you stand and watch. You'll have your own welder and material and spend the session actually making.
We'll start by getting you safely set up and showing you how to use the welding equipment. You'll then have time to practise and get comfortable before moving on to your Christmas build.
From there, it's over to you. You'll weld, shape and assemble the steel components to gradually bring your reindeer to life, with help and guidance from us along the way.
By the end of the two hours, you'll have tried your hand at welding and metalworking — and you'll leave with a Christmas decoration you made yourself.
Anyone over the age of 14 can join this session along with a adult.
Key details:
Start time: Saturday 28th November or Friday 4th December. Limited Time Slots.
Course Material: All material, PPE and equipment included. You take away the reindeer.
