What you need: You can take the course for theory, but real progress comes with practice. You’ll need a safe, clear space to weld and access to a machine. We provide an equipment checklists to get you going. All course material is mobile compatible.

  • This chapter includes 4 videos lessons that explain different types of Welding PPE that should and can be worn.

    You will learn about the different types of safety equipment. Some which is essential and others which are desirable.

  • Unsure where to start with machines and Proccesses.

    We will explain the 3 main welding processes and how they're different. By the end of these 5 Lessons you will know the difference between MMA, MIG and TIG.

    We will explain welding gasses, Gasless MIG and Gas system are.

    Perfect if you are unsure which machine to buy, learn or use.

  • The main focus of our course is to learn to weld using Mild Steel. We will use this chapter to explain the main difference in Mild Steels.

    We will discuss how to source scrap material for practice.

  • Over this chapter our 5 lessons will explain how to go about preparing metal for welding.

    This includes how to use Angle Grinders safely for preparation. We discuss using the right consumables to save you time and money on your projects.

  • By this stage in the curriculum you will know the difference between the welding processses.

    This chapter has 4 lessons which will introduce you to the basics skills required to MIG Weld.

    It will include some useful practical lessons and skills and address common trouble shotting issues.

  • TIG Welding is a vast area of knowledge and this chapter has 4 Lessons and 2 discussions.

    Start your TIG welding journey by understanding the terminology found on the machines. The essential kit require and potential accessories.

    Completing this chapter will provide you with useful tips and exercises to practise and improve your TIG welding.
