5-Day Welding & Fabrication Course

Discover Welding Processes and Fabrication Skills

About:

The Weld Space offers a 5-day Introduction to Welding & Fabrication course, designed to give you the flexibility to explore welding in depth and at your own pace. Whether you want to sample different processes or fully immerse yourself in developing new skills, this course allows you to tailor the experience.

Over this week long welding course, you’ll be introduced to the three main welding processes: MIG, MMA, and TIG. You’ll learn the theory behind each machine and how to use it safely and correctly, before moving into practical joinery techniques, setup costs, and troubleshooting. There’s plenty of time to practise, experiment, and build confidence to work with mild steel from box section to through to sheet material. .

You will also cover the use of plasma cutting, including compressor selection and safe freehand torch cutting techniques.

The course culminates in the opportunity to build your own finished product. You can create something based on your own design (subject to size and practicality, which we can discuss), or choose from a selection of ready-made designs we have available.
