Learn about TIG Welding:

Come and learn about TIG welding with The Weld Space. Our lesson packages will introduced to the basics of TIG welding including material preparation and finishing. You will learn the benefits of TIG welding over other welding processes.

We will teach you about preparing material for TIG welding, then using the TIG welder to spot weld your material together and run detailed welds. You will understand what you use TIG welding for and how to set up the machines ready for welding thin and thick materials using Pulse TIG Settings.

Over the lessons you will build a small metal object from your preferred material.

The 3 Hour package is the perfect introduction into TIG Welding whether you are new to welding or have experienced other welding methods. By joining our programme you qualify for our Book a Bench Hire scheme and can come back and practise TIG welding under your own steam.

The session will be led by Richard Evans, An experienced designer and TIG welder. All materials required for this course are included in the price.

As TIG Welding is quite specialised we offer two packages. We offer two packages a 3 hour lesson to get you familiar with TIG Welding and the machines. The Second Package is 6 hours of tuition which will help remind techqiue and give you and understanding of TIG welding different materials.

If you are looking at welding Stainless Steel OR Aluminium we advise you book a 6 hour package as welding these materials requires a base level of skill which can only really be achieved by spending more time practising TIG Welding.

Level: No Experience Needed / past welding experience helpful.
