We will be making a plant stand which is perfect for displaying plants in the garden but what it teaching you is how to set out a 3D Object. They will have the chance to learn and practice MIG welding techniques in the morning session. This will allow you to develop your skills and gain confidence in working with metal. After familiarising yourself with MIG welding, you will move onto the next stage of the experience, where you will have the opportunity to manipulate with mild steel tubing to fit the design of the stool. Using the tube bender and strength, your form symmetrical curves for the stool's legs your then use the metal saw to cut tube to length to help support the length.

The final stage of the workshop will be welding all the parts together to create your very own stool. Applying the welding techniques you learned earlier in the day, you will weld the legs to the base, ensuring a sturdy and secure structure. This process will require patience, attention to detail, and the ability to work with precision.

Finally we will then use Angle grinders to tidy up all the welds and make sure you go home with a lovely contemporary stool.

TIG welding, or Tungsten Inert Gas welding, is a precision welding process known for its versatility and ability to create high-quality welds. .During the TIG welding process the tungsten electrode tipped welding torch produces an electric arc that generates extreme heat. This heat melts the base metals being joined, while a separate filler rod is manually fed into the weld pool to reinforce the joint.
